Hello from Amara-Cherie.

My name is Amara-Cherie. I'm 9 years old and I'm the "new" sister. The girls here tell me I'm very quiet. I don't think of myself that way, but sometimes when I don't have anything really meaningful to say I prefer not to say anything at all. That's what my grandma told me, her name was Addy and she also told me she was named after a really old great great great grandmother from a long time ago. I will tell you about my grandma some other time because I get sad when I think about her. I miss her a lot.
So back to what I was saying... I've been told I'm "introspective" but I don't know what that means. I'm in third grade and the teacher hasn't taught us that word. But I'll ask her what it is because I've heard it a lot.
My friends are Linden and Gracie, they've been very kind to me and have helped me get acquainted to my new home. Claudette is very talkative and outspoken so we don't get along that much. Rebecca used to talk more to us but now she's busy being nostalgic. Breanna is Gracie's younger sister, she's mostly into music and poetry, and I hope I can get to know her better because I love it when she sings.
But let me tell you more about myself. I am from Los Angeles. I left L.A. when my grandma was put in a home for the elderly so I went to live with my aunt in Wisconsin. One day she got a call from L.A. saying they had a home for me, and that's how I camed to live here. But before I was able to travel between countries I went to California and lived at Juliette and Lucie's place for a while. If you don't know Juliette and Lucie are Claudette's sisters. They all look alike, I think they were born in a batch. Then Lucie became my very bestest friend. Isn't it strange? I mean Claudette and I don't get along at all, but her sister is my BFF! (I don't have any real brothers or sisters, if you do, are you very different?). I miss you Lucie!
I like living here, though. Our human told me that she will soon take me out to get to get to know the city. I'm really looking forward to it. She regularly brings us sweet rolls for supper, and lets us play in the garden.
When I just came here I went through some toys the girls had forgotten about, and I found the cutest My Little Ponies. I adopted them right away and now they're my favorites. Here's a pic of me with one of them. I need to find it's name on the internet. Does anybody know it? He's got a purple butterfly on his body.
Do you like My Little Ponies? What's your favorite toy?
Hugs,
Amara-Cherie (you can call me Cherry if you want).

Our family has grown!

This is so bad!!! I just told my human person that there's no point in having a blog if she's not going to let us use the computer to post!! I feel so sorry. Poor abandoned blog. After a bit of arguing we were told we'll get the computer once a week... I'm so glad! Hopefully this will become a bit more fun.

During the last month our family has grown! Dear Amara-Cherie finally came to live with us! She had been staying at Juliette and Lucie's house (Claudette's sisters). We are so glad she's here and we all love Cherry (our nickname to her). She was a bit quiet at first but now she's talking a bit more. She's so pretty.

Rebecca has been a bit strange. She's suddenly feeling historical. I don't understand what that means. All I know is that she went to get her dark red dress two weeks ago and hasn't changed since. I think she feels a bit lonely because she's Jewish and we're not. She talks about Passover and things we don't know much about. I wish one of us could understand her better.

The weather is soooo hot here, and this is just April!! We haven't gone outside at all, it's plenty hot inside already. I hope we can soon make a pool party. We need to get more swimsuits.

So here's a pic of us six! It's so nice, we can hang out in pairs now and nobody is left out!

Have a good week!!!!
Linden
